With great pride, we are wrapping up the activities of our project to support female entrepreneurship, implemented with the support of the Slovenian Embassy Skopje/Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia
Within the framework of the project, under the mentorship of fashion designer Irina Tosheva, 60 girls and women, including women from vulnerable categories from Bitola - Secondary School "Taki Daskalo" - Bitola, Kumanovo - @Secondary School Pero Nakov, Skopje- Modno Studio LE-TE by Katerina Tosheva and MAMA love crochet - Strumica were part of the trainings, gaining valuable skills and inspiration for developing their businesses.

Fashion Show "In the Rhythm of Macedonian Crafts and Creations" Showcases the Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
As part of Fashion Weekend Skopje, the spectacular fashion show "In the Rhythm of Macedonian Crafts and Creations" celebrated the rich tapestry of Macedonian tradition, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage. This remarkable event highlighted the creative journey of 60 talented women and girls from Bitola, Skopje, Kumanovo, and Strumica, who showcased their handmade designs, blending timeless techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
Guided by the mentorship of renowned fashion designer Irina Tosheva and supported by local experts, the participants honed their skills in sewing, knitting, embroidery, and weaving. Their stunning creations reflect not only their technical expertise but also the vibrant spirit of Macedonian folklore.
Adding prestige to the event, the models—prominent figures from the diplomatic, cultural, and social spheres of Macedonia—graced the runway, bringing these unique pieces to life. The show stood as a powerful tribute to the importance of preserving traditional crafts while empowering women to innovate and excel in the modern fashion industry.
This harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary design left an indelible mark on the audience, reinforcing the value of cultural heritage in shaping a sustainable and creative future.
